Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I have to buy clothes that don't have zips/laces/buttons. I constantly ruin underwear because I leak faeces, but sensory issues mean I can't wear pads. I cannot wash my own hair There are days I cannot wipe my own arse because of restricted shoulder movement. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £480 |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I do work, but, with all the difficulties above, if I were to lose my job I couldn't get another employer that would accept my disabilities and the levels of sick periods I have. |
Anything else to tell us: This change is barbaric. Its humiliating enough to have to cope with issues we have. Then to have to try to justify it to so called health professionals that seek to undermine your difficulties. We need to go back to accepting medical evidence and get rid of the HCPs that undermine us. |
