Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I have a joint pain, back pain, fatigue and struggle to manage the most basic of things. It takes me much longer to wash and dress and I’m at risk of accidents if I don’t reach a toilet in time. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I will lose my entire PIP. Standard Daily Living. This enables me to buy supplements needed that I cannot get on the NHS to help rebuild my bones. It helps me pay for taxis to appointments if I can’t get a lift and am too poorly to drive. It means I can buy ready prepared food so I don’t have to endure the pain of standing too long to prepare. Ready prepared foods are more expensive. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I would be sacked for taking too much time off sick. I wouldn’t be able to do what I’m qualified to do. I couldn’t manage anything physical or where you have to stand too long. I am unable to keep concentration for very long and would make a lot of mistakes. |
