Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Depends on the assessor. |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Everything. My last review was awful and felt like I was being tricked by the questions the whole time. I got the same points as I had four years previously despite my condition being significantly worse. I didn’t want to challenge it as I was just grateful to keep getting what I’ve had before and worried if I did I would lose it. But didn’t think it was a fair assessment. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £300 per month. This pays for me to have a cleaner and run my car (not on the mobility scheme). Without my car I won’t be able to work and will pretty much be confined to my home. I can’t do housework so heaven knows what state I would end up living in. If he prospect of this scares me. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I can’t see anyone else but my current employer providing the same flexibility. I work 18.75 hours a week from home or out and about in the community. As long as I do the hours it is up to me when I do them so I can start late, nap during the day and work into the evening if necessary. And not work some days if I’m not able to. |
Anything else to tell us: I also have ADHD but not included in my PIP. The threat of losing PIP has really affected my mental health to the point of having suicidal thoughts. If I am going to end up not working and pretty much confined to a messy home, I don’t see the point of carrying on. I feel totally betrayed by the current government who chooses to prey on the weak rather than deal with taxing billionaires. I’m disgusted: |
