Nickname: Steve
Age: 38
Main health condition: Physical health
Main conditions that affect daily living: Myalgic Encephalomyelitis
Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: I should have scored 4 for help to cook but was scored down to only required aids, I've gotten worse so if the assessor is fair I should score 4 but from experience this isn't always the case.
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Showering, dressing myself, opening medication and cooking. Pain and stiffness caused by Hypermobility Spectrum Disorder makes movement difficult and fatigue and autonomic dysfunction caused by Myalgic Encephalomyelitis affects my stamina and ability to safely and repeatedly do basic daily tasks required to live.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: Around 300 pounds, this would have a huge impact on me as the PIP I receive doesn't even cover my loss in earnings due to disability anyway. I work part time from home so I have the expense of gas and electricity during hours that if I was able to work from the office I would not have to use not to mention I am physically unable to work more hours to make up for the loss due to my disabilities. The PIP tops up my wages which allows me to work part time and still be able to afford utilities needed to do so from home.

Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I already work.
Anything else to tell us: Taking away PIP from someone like me who already does work and uses the money to be able to do so in a manner they are able is ridiculous.
It won't help me at all and is blatant discrimination. I work already!
