Age: 20-30 |
Main health condition: Both physical and mental health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: ADHD, Depression, Anxiety, ME/CFS, Hypermobility, Fibromyalgia, Hidradenitis Suppurativa, Disordered eating |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Very unlikely |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Getting up, keeping up with hygiene, walking to the toilet, eating, staying awake, coping with pain, dressing, basic living is hard |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose by PIP daily living and, if it is linked to my LCWRA all of that too. I have to pay for a private dentist because I can't get an NHS one, I use delivery services for food because i can't stay awake long enough or be upright long enough to make any food so I would stop eating. There would be no point in living anymore |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: Who is going to employ me on an as and when I can basis, I don't know how bad my pain will be until I try to move, I don't know how awake my body will be until I try to be awake, I need to have someone move me in a wheelchair on my exhaustion days, I need someone to walk me through tasks when my brain fog is in full effect, I can't always concentrate for long enough to plan, start and finish a task at home such as dressing. |
