Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I used a wheelchair to get around day to day, but only leave the house to take my children to school, and don't go anywhere else on my own. The school is just up the hill and takes less than 10m to do the whole drop off. My lack of executive function means that I don't wash for weeks or brush my hair. I wear proper clothes to sleep in so that I can do the school runs, and my hair is always pulled back into a bobble so that people can't tell that the bit I can't reach to brush is a tangle of knots. I'm incontinent, I wear special underwear as otherwise I permaently leak, and have occasional bouts of fecal incontinence. I burn myself when I try to cook, I fall over, I struggle to do anything without |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £300 a month |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I couldn't work regular hours, or travel to work without government funding. I'd have to work in a fully accessible work place and have a PA to help me deal with lots of things. |
