No 4 point PIP descriptors results

Submission ID: 1165031
Date: 2025-04-10 14:19:13
Nickname: Lina
Age: 51
Main health condition: Physical health
Main conditions that affect daily living: Myalgic Encephalomyelitis, Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Very unlikely
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Cooking, washing, toileting, cleaning my house, going to work, getting dressed and moving around.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £375 per month
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I already work as much as I possibly can. If I try to work more hours that I am currently doing, the likelihood is that I will end up in a permanent relapse which could render me completely bed bound.
Anything else to tell us: I am only just able to manage on the money I have coming in. A cut of £375 per month would mean my teenaged son and I would be living in poverty. I do work as much as I am able, and I do my best to support myself and my son. I only want to live a modest and dignified existence without discrimination. Taking away my PIP is like punishing me for not being able to work as much as an able-bodied person. I did not choose to have this illness and I would much rather be well and have the opportunity to work full time.
