Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Washing dishes, filling washer, showering, getting dressed, cooking, no grip keep dropping things , can't take tops of jars, can't grip properly, constantly getting out of breath, can't carry anything more than a loaf of bread, can't walk far get out of breath bending over going upstairs showering and getting dressed and undressed, can't stand in kitchen to cook a meal. Celiac I have meals delivered from Wiltshire farm foods . Basic toilet needs when out I have to be near a toilet, if somewhere different whoever is with me has to check if toilets and where they are due to muscle spasms affecting control emy muscles. Can't do housework without help, or change bedding and curtains. Vacuuming standing to dust and polish. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: All my standard allowance of £290 a month |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I can't use my hands properly for anything, I can't sit for long I can't stand for long and I'm in pain all the time. I would be having a lot of time off if they did find me anything, I can't grip properly I have spinal fractures twisted spine, COPD emphysema to the point I can't speak. Fibromyalgia which makes my memory fuzzy, vertigo where I'm in bed unable to move for about 4 days then takes a week to completely feel more normal. I can't do housework don't know how I'm supposed to go work as well all my conditions are degenerative and won't get any better. |
Anything else to tell us: I used to work 3 jobs , I workedmake heavy casting jobs in the pottery industry , I've done nearly every job on a potbank but wouldn't be able to now. I've worked behind a bar which I can't do now, I've always done manual work with my hands . I get really frustrated that I can't even open a shampoo bottle, when washing dishes they flirt in the air because I can't tell I'm holding them. I don't think I would be insured for injury if anything happened from working, I more than likely would do more damage to my bones and lungs. Also I would need to be going the toilet a lot . |
