No 4 point PIP descriptors results

Nickname: Louise |
Age: 50 |
Main health condition: Physical health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: EDS, PoTS, MCAS, Autism, ADHD |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Enhanced |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: I should have scored more than 4 points in multiple descriptors but was ignored, so I am not confident that that will change |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I struggle with all tasks... fatigue, dizziness and pain mean I cannot get showered or dressed as often as I should, I live on microwave meals because I cannot stand long enough to prepare even basic meals, I have severe brain fog so making decisions and remembering medications is very difficult and generally unsuccessful. I struggle to communicate with people due to being autistic, and have no social life whatsoever |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: If I was given the same PIP award again, then as far as I understand, I would lose my Daily Living part of PIP completely, and then also my extra ESA Support Group and Disability Premiums payments |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I would not be able to work at all, I really don't have a choice in that. I cannot be upright or sitting up for long enough periods, I have extreme fatigue, and my brain fog is too bad to consider any non-physical work |
Anything else to tell us: Not only are the proposed changes worrying and unfair, but it is also extremely unfair how difficult it is even at the minute for disabled people to be awarded what they are entitled to |
