Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I struggle with most tasks more than half of the month due to pain I also have sensitivity to light sounds and motion which makes going outside a struggle. Due to dizziness I avoid moving my head when possible if I move it suddenly the world moves and rotates. My migraines can last 2-3 days and and are confined to the left hand side of my face it feels like my eye is being bored out by a drill after the migraine ends it takes a few days to recover. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would expect to lose my pip and the universal credit LCWRA payment around £700 a month the effect will be I will be unable to leave the house as I rely on taxis and the extra money covers this I will also be unable to pay for my private physiotherapy for my balance and joint issues plus I rely heavily on takeaways and convenience food as most days cooking is not an option. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I have been unable to work for 10 years although I have only been claiming benefits for a year as I was living on savings till they ran out. With the conditions I have I do not know how I will feel from 1 day to the next which makes it impossible for me to work I do not feel that support from a work coach would have any influence or help with working as I will find it physically impossible. |
Anything else to tell us: My condition fluctuates and I have found a way to live with it do I have a life no at present I do not but I put one foot in front of the other and do what I can on a daily basis I have hope that one day I may be able to manage my condition and be a valued member of society again and not just a drain on the finances of an uncaring government who have no idea of the struggles I go through on a daily basis. |
