Main health condition: Both physical and mental health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: Arthritis, Depression, Anxiety, Agoraphobia, Back Pain, Diabetes |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: The most I currently get is 3 points, so unless my health deteriorates not likely at all |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Just to give you a taste, I struggle using the toilet, cleaning myself, preparing food, cooking and getting dressed. I cannot get out of the bath without help and my budgeting skills are poor when I am low, hence a terrible credit score. I often go through periods when I simply do not function due to depression. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I'm not sure. I am not on Universal credit yet so I do not know what impact losing daily living will have on that. However, from what I've read it will likely be thousands. This is really frightening and I am having suicidal thoughts. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I really struggle to sleep so 9-5 work is not possible. I often feel low and when that happens i do not communicate with anyone. I get tired quite quickly and that means concentration is difficult and I get clumsy. I often find it difficult to leave home, but when I do I feel nauseous. It gets worse the longer/further away i am from home. |
Anything else to tell us: These cuts are wrong. |
