Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I can't stand for any length of time. My hands are painful and have nerve damage so preparing vegetables etc for meals is too difficult. If I bend to use the oven or reach for something low down due to a blood flow problem in my brain I go dizzy and can collapse if I stand too quickly. These all make preparing a meal difficult so I have to spend more money on pre-prepared vegetables or meals. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose my standard rate living allowance of over £72 per week. This will mean I will have to try to find the money for the more expensive pre-prepared veg etc from my ESA payment which is already reduced due to bedroom tax. I'm also worried once I my state pension if my PIP daily living is removed I might not be eligible for pension credits so I'd be hit twice. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I'm in support group and there is no chance of me returning to work. |
Anything else to tell us: Taking the daily living element away from people that have already been assessed as needing it by simple changing the rules doesn't stop those people from actually needing it or deserving it. |
