Nickname: C
Age: 47
Main health condition: Physical health
Main conditions that affect daily living: ME/CFS
Pompholyx hand eczema
IBS
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Not very. Was awarded 2 points per category as assessor didn't believe how much assistance I require with personal care. Also didn't believe I'm in a wheelchair.
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I need full assistance with washing and bathing, dressing, preparing food, I also need help with managing my medication and finances.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I will lose £16,000 per year as I will lose my PIP, contribution based ESA and Universal Credit allowances for being in the ESA support group.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I am disabled by illness so I am too sick to work. If I manage to find a job I would never be able to keep it.
