Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Chopping, preparing and cutting up food, getting hot food from oven/microwave, cannot wash below waist, difficulty wiping bottom. Difficulty dressing bottom half. Regular bladder incontinence due to a prolapse. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose standard rate care and would not be able to afford ready prepared food, foot care eg toenails cut. I would not be able to afford to do extra washing or extra showers that incontinence causes.. I cannot wash my bottom half as it is. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I care for my severely disabled husband, but worry I will be required to work, which will impact both of us negatively. I do not think anyone would employ me if I constantly drop things/unable to pick things up, or that I often pee myself/smell of pee. |
Anything else to tell us: As if our lives are not humiliating enough. We will now smell. |
