Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I need a significant amount of support from an unpaid carer and aids, from everything from washing, ensuring I get nutrition this as well as leaving the house and doing daily tasks. Daily tasks take me significantly longer than others involve me having to rest after doing seemingly trivial things. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £110 p/w This would have a huge impact on my life and my families it would mean I wouldn’t be able to afford things like my chiropractor who without my pain would be so bad I wouldn’t be able to work, or pay for my therapist/ adhd coach with helps keep me regulated and supported so that I can actually function in my life have better relationships and work. Those are the just two examples of what I will have to give up if my pip is taken away Without pip I think I will have to reduce the number of days I can work from 4 to at least 3 days if not more as my pain levels will increase and so will my disregulation |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I already work in a professional job 4 days a week so do not need this support |
Anything else to tell us: PIP is not an out of work benefit, it helps with costs of care and health (where the nhs does not have sufficient resources or really ever could as every disability effects people in different ways) |
