Submission ID: 1164676
Date: 2025-04-10 10:47:50
Nickname: H
Age: 57
Main health condition: Both physical and mental health
Main conditions that affect daily living: Autism
Anxiety
Depression
Rate of PIP daily living component: Enhanced
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Borderline
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Can't cook hardly at all. Can't be in face to face social situations including online. Can't speak on the phone (done it once in 10 years). Can't shower or bath, wash hair and armpits, nothing else atm. Can't budget but can do numbers well. Can't wear anything other than soft clothes which are night wear and baggy.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: Lose Enhanced Daily Care component.
Household will lose Carers Allowance.
Insufficient funds to live where I live (shared ownership property that my Carer partly owns), the whole household (carer and me) would have to move, I haven't gone out the house at all for over 7 years, I can'tgo out. I don't know what would happen.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I would need to work from home and cannot communicate outside the home. I don't know what work I could do.
Anything else to tell us: I think the last 2 PIP Reviews have been underscored by assessors but because the first one was during Covid (when things my disabilities stop me doing were normalised for all the population) and reached the threshold for Enhanced Daily Care it was not challenged, why would it be?
