Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I can’t do anything that involves standing for more than a minute without being in severe pain. This means I can’t cook a meal or prepare food as i can’t stand long enough to do it. I struggle to dress because I can’t bend or lift my legs easily but because I can dress my top half I would be classed as not needing help |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £4000 a year. Which pays for someone to help me in the house to do the things I can’t do. Without the support I would not be able to function and could put my health at more risk than currently |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I do work |
Anything else to tell us: The changes are telling me and the thousands of other disabled people that we aren’t disabled enough. They should maybe try living a day like we do and then tell us we aren’t disabled |
