Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I struggle with the majority of tasks, including housework, cooking, showering and dressing. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I may lose the daily living component altogether. This would mean I have little income and I cannot physically work. I would not even be accepted for interview unless I lied. My conditions result in sleep disorders, sometimes terrible fatigue and sleeping up to 15 hours a day, sometimes insomnia. My last job I was in repeated disciplinary meetings for sickness, along with periods of long term sick leave of about 6 months. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: Employers would find me unreliable. I may need to sleep suddenly for an unspecific amount of time, brain fog can affect my speed in completing work, pain could mean I am unable to attend at all. I dont blame the employers, it is unfair to ask them to employ people who are incapable of being on time, in work daily with minimal time off and without needing the employer to make huge changes to the workplace to allow an employee to even perform basic tasks. |
