Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: People I don't like people. I have pain everyday and struggle with most tasks |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: Not sure, probably a third |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: Not sure what they can help me with as it's pointless anyway. I am in constant pain and wonder how generations before me ever coped and just wondered if I was feeling sorry for myself and spoilt the system for many now |
Anything else to tell us: Not sure why there are so many older people worried about these welfare cuts when the government stated it was the 20-30s they were aiming at with depression and anxiety relating these symptoms to the seemingly older generation now of the bad back yet there's not many with a bad back anymore... Also to pick on the wealthy isn't going to benefit if we're picking on those with 100,000 a year as most millionaires have left the country. 2022: A net outflow of 1,400 millionaires. 2024: A net loss of 10,800 millionaires, more than double the number who left in 2023. Reasons for the outflow: Brexit's economic toll. A turbulent political climate. A creaking economy. The movement of well-paid traders and bankers from the City of London to financial centers in the EU like Paris and Milan. Higher taxes. The growing dominance of the United States and Asia in the tech sector. The crumbling UK healthcare system. |
