Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Unable to bathe & get dressed without pain, breathlessness and fatigue. Unable to prepare and cook meals due to same as above but also weakness in hands causing painful accidents and brain fog causing fires. Small amounts of walking cause breathlessness, pain and severe fatigue |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £290 every 4 weeks pip and £404 lcwra every month from universal credit. This would greatly effect myself and my children. I would not be able to pay for taxis to get to any appointments and I cannot manage to walk and bus. This money also helps to feed us and pay for the gas as I get cold extremely easy and cannot regulate my body temperature |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I did work. I was laid off after an occupational health assessment. Employers are not going to keep someone who is not reliable due to the effects of fluctuating illness |
Anything else to tell us: The government is not doing this to help those who want to work get back into work. They are going to force thousands into poverty and greater ill health. All they are doing with this 4 point rule in pip is destroying lives to save money and ensuring everyone knows that labour does not care for the poor and disabled |
