Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I struggle with preparing meals safely, managing medications, and communicating clearly when overwhelmed or in pain.
Fatigue and brain fog often leave me unable to concentrate or function without support. Basic self care is difficult without adaptations and rest periods.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose over £400 per month if I no longer qualify for PIP. Without it, I can't afford transport to work, specialist therapies, or support aids. I'd likely have to give up my job and go onto Universal Credit, which would put me into deeper financial insecurity and impact my mental health.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I do work, but only because PIP helps me manage the costs of living with my condition. Without that support, working becomes physically and financially unsustainable. Reasonable adjustments at work don't cover the extra daily living needs I have outside the workplace.
Anything else to tell us: Pip gave me my independence, it’s actually in the name of it.
Removing support like PIP from people who are managing to work will force many of us out of
employment. The current system recognises that disability costs don't end when someone gets a job.
Cutting that lifeline would be devastating for thousands trying to stay independent and contribute to society.
