Nickname: |
Age: 69 |
Main health condition: Physical health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: CMT (charcot Marie tooth disease) and an iliostomy and anxiety |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: I have deteriorated significantly over the last few years (since my last review) and feel certain that I will score at least one 4 point daily living descriptor |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I have to now have help with using the cooker cutting and preparing food. I struggle getting dressed. And I now find it difficult emptying my colostomy bag. All these tasks are difficult because I have great difficulty with my hands due to CMT I have no dexterity in my hands and feet my mobility is worse I now use a stick. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose £290 it would impact on the way I have to travel. I use taxis to get about as I don't drive and cannot walk far. So I would become isolated if I couldn't get out and about. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I am retired |
Anything else to tell us: I was originally on the enhanced rate but after my review I was deducted 1 point which gave me 11 points one point less than the 12 points needed for the enhanced rate. I disputed this but was denied it. Did the assessor get a bonus for that ????? |
