Main health condition: Physical health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: Chronic fatigue syndrome /ME |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: I think I should but I know they will not mark 4 in 1 catergory |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Due to energy limiting illness I can make breakfast but not lunch and dinner I need carer to do this for me because I cannot reliably do so on more than half the days in the week. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £295 /month |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I managed to work in the office for a few years but unable to do anything else outside work crashing on weekends. I then stopped being able to drive or tolerate the lights and stimulation of the work office . I managed to work from home for a year I then was unable to work at all as time passed my symptoms worsened and my tolerance for any activity ceased I was assessed by 2 medical professionals who said due to long standing over exertion I had permanently lowered my anaerobic threshold and was now unable to work. I am simply unable to work to do so makes me sick even daily tasks make me sick (pain exhaustion nausea head aches) |
Anything else to tell us: I am afraid to say that PIp meant I did not end up homeless it paid my mortgage. I need a wheel chair and to charge it but that was a secondary consideration I had to use the money to keep my house and pay my bills |
