Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Every day is an effort due to pain simple chores like putting dishes away are exhausting, I have terrible pain in my hands, and find opening things like tins, packets at times impossible, I cannot peel veg, or cook meals for myself, I rely greatly on my sister and occasionally parents for meals. Cleaning my home is very difficult and exhausting and painful and take a very long time. Simple joys like walking is almost impossible I take a dog pushchair out with me, so I can lean on it and use it for support, I don't get mobility. I struggle with life, I don't cope well with change and often breakdown. I rely mainly on home delivery for shopping, or eat with my sister or parents, but also the physical side I have nerve pain in my leg and feet which has got worse since having chemotherapy. I need to make a drs appointment, but am finding it very difficult to do, as I have trouble explaining what's wrong. My concentration levels are low. I have help to change my bed. If I were to go back to work, I wouldn't be able to keep my home tidy, as doing the little amount I do, is exhausting and physically difficult! Id need help getting ready in the mornings and help with meals. I can't use computer screens as they trigger migraines, I use a phone for a short amount of time. Even this I've had to put down twice. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: Higher rate living component and I don't know if this would affect universal credit. But I do believe it's thousands a year. I live on my own so would have to work a lot of hours to be able to pay my bills. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: My work coach has said I shouldn't be in the work related group I'm in, I should be in the support group. I honestly don't know what job I could do, and more worryingly how many hours would I have to work to be able to live. I couldn't work right now even 10hourz a week. |
