Submission ID: 1163704

Nickname: Blade
Age: 70
Main health condition: Physical health
Main conditions that affect daily living: Arthritis, incontinence.
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: I dont know ,i scored 3 points in one descriptor and a few 2 points several years ago and my health has not improved but has deteriorated over time
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Incontinence keeping myself clean, putting clothes on,preparing food, cooking food.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: If i lose the daily living it has a knock on effect i would lose carers allowance (because in live alone) and also i would no longer be able to claim pension credit,so the income loss would be devastating about £10,000.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I am 70 i am a pensioner so i am not expected to work.
Anything else to tell us: I dont hear anything from the Govt about the 10 year light touch that Amber Rudd brought in its as if the Govt are lumping all PIP claimants together, disabled pensioners who are on PIP should NOT have to go thru reassessment to see if they get 4 points, disabled pensioners health problems get worse with age they never get better.
