Nickname: Anne
Age: 55-65
Main health condition: Both physical and mental health
Main conditions that affect daily living: EDS POTS AUTISM ANXIETY DEPRESSION SPONTANEOUS ANGIOEDEMA ANAPHYLAXIS VCD
Rate of PIP daily living component: Enhanced
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: I never know
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Preparing food, eating, toilet needs, bathing, socialising, moving around, managing therapy, planning a journey all are an everyday struggle, to look after myself is a 24 hour a day work.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I score 2's and 3's to a total of 16 points I do not ever know what score when it is reviewed so could lose all care benefit. This will hinder my life immensely I have not choose to live with very complexed health and sadly came out of work 5 years ago when people could see I was unfit for work. My life will change and have many cut backs if I lose the benefit
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I am disabled with very complexed health conditions I have been a working person but to go back into a workforce now I certainly could not mange and would be an hinder to the company I worked for
Anything else to tell us: Government are not considering people with complexed health needs, who's life is a 24 hour a day job already
