| Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Walking, getting up and sitting down, remaining stood or remaining seated. Due to pain. Unable to prepare and cook a meal even though I try with an aid. Toileting need to use an aid.Sometimes need help to get there. Washing needing to use two aids and have help. Mixing with other people. Leaving the house and going out due to severe anxiety. |
| Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: If I lost my money I would be able to feed myself, let alone afford to maintain my mobility aids as the mobilty payment isn't even enough. |
| Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I would be too anxious to leave the house, if I did manage it. I would be in intense pain and have severe fatigue to the point I couldnt stand or sit still long enough, Ai would be very distressed due to my severe anxiety, I would be so tired I couldnt remember the information, then I wouldn't be able to complete any tasks that I'm asked to do. Been there done that. If I could work I would be doing so. |
| Anything else to tell us: I think the government has no real idea on people's issues, not a clue. (yes there may be a small number of people possibly claiming they are worse they actually may be) . But I can't see how you can honestly work that out from a mental health perspective. The disabled are sick and tired of being questioned and being asked to jump though hoops that can't do, to just be able to try and live on the small amount of money they are given and expected to live on. Then to even consider taking their money away what a joke this is. Focus on stopping the illegals coming here and paying for them. Support your own first. We should not be targeted as we are disabled and being unable to work. |
