Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I struggle to stand to cook or do housework for even a short period of time due to pain and fatigue. Jobs take much longer as I need to do everything in small spells and rest in between. Bathing and dressing can be painful, exhausting and take a long time even with help. Bladder and bowel issues mean I spend a lot of time in the bathroom. All issues are frustrating as was used to being active and independent until recent years. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: At least £300 per month but likely a lot more as PIP effects other entitlements. It would take away my independence as I usually need to use taxis as I don't drive or have someone to transport me for appointments , shopping, etc. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I wouldn't be able to do physical work without suffering more pain and due to my anxiety I don't like being among strangers, I like my own space so it would cause a lot of stress and anxiety being amongst other people. |
Anything else to tell us: My conditions are more than listed above and are progressive. It's taken approx 7-8 years to get some diagnosis and still under multiple specialists for further intervention. |
