Nickname: Anon |
Age: 58 |
Main health condition: Both physical and mental health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: M.E/ chronic fatigue syndrome ( including extreme light and sound sensitivity) , fibromyalgia, arthritis, C-PTSD, depression, agoraphobia, asthma. |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: I should get 4 points, but with the way that they dismiss/ distort peoples truths, who knows. |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Personal care, cleaning, food prep, eating, hydrating, paying bills. Managing my mental health. Every aspect of my life. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose PIP, which means I would also lose the disability payment of universal credit. I couldnt afford my carer/ cleaner, my carers room, so in effect I would lose my home of 35 years. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: My health conditions are variable, especially the extreme fatigue which makes me totally unreliable. I would be sacked within a month, if not sooner. I could not maintain a job. |
Anything else to tell us: This added stress of the unknown about my financial/ home security has caused extreme anxiety which exacerbates all of my conditions |
