Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Mobility is very restricted. I struggle getting in and out of bed; getting dressed/undressed; bathing/showering; preparing meals and washing up. I am unable to look after my home and garden and rely on paid cleaners/gardener to do this. I struggle with washing and ironing clothes. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I expect to lose the standard level of daily care PIP - currently £73.90 pw |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I'm 69 years old and crippled with MS. I have fatigue, constant pain and low energy. There is no possibility I will ever work again |
Anything else to tell us: Losing over £3,800 of net income per annum will have a significant effect on my way of life.. I spnd around £1000 pa on cleaners, a similar amount on gardener and over £2,300 pa on drugs which NICE will not fund despite their proven symptomatic relief |
