Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I’m constantly in pain and suffer from debilitating fatigue and headaches. I currently work full time from home but really struggling due to increasing symptoms. I live alone so have no support and am currently “at risk” of losing my NHS job due to financial pressures within my Trust. My PIP money has helped me keep working (albeit from home for the last 3 years) by paying towards a cleaner, handy person, plus things to help me keep working and living independently as I can’t stand for more than a few minutes at a time due to pain and weakness. For example my PIP had paid for a special mattress, robot litter tray for my cats, robot hoover and lawnmower plus air fryer so that I don’t burn my food. I don’t know how I would have coped without PIP as with only one wage coming in I didn’t have money for the extra things that living with disabilities cost. I rarely leave my house and feel that if I lost PIP any quality of life would go with it! |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: £405 a month |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I do currently work full time but it’s getting harder and harder and I’ve already made as many adjustments as I possibly can. |
