Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I can no longer cook wash or dress myself and it's hard to leave the house due to poor mobility and incontinence. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose around £5299 per year which would mean I can not pay for the extra care I need chiropody or costs incurred from my incontinence. My conditions which are many are made worse by the cold and gas and electricity are too expensive. I can not get the mobility scooter I need to be able to leave the house. We could lose our home as neither of us can work due to chronic degenerative conditions. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I can't leave the house I'm 64 this year and have worked up until last year when I was dismissed for my disabilities. I can't work due to the pain loss of feeling in my arms and lower limbs and incontinence. I fall over alot due to lack of balance. I can't visit a job centre as I can't drive or use public transport. I have worked all my life until last year. I don't understand technology and most days I can't function at all due to pain and falls and the affect of my conditions. |
Anything else to tell us: This cost cutting scheme is cruel and the people who genuinely can't work should be protected. The 4 point rule is awful and will prove catastrophic to too many people. This is ill thought out. |
