Age: 67 |
Main health condition: Physical health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: Widespread Osteo-Arthritis, long term back injury from nursing, polymyalgia rheumatica. |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Not very |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Washing and bathing Preparing food and cooking it General household tasks Remembering medication, opening packages etc |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I expect to lose my daily living PIP completely as so many are and will I get 11 points at present but can’t see how I would get the 4 points in any section |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: Retired since I was 27 on ill health. Was found fit to work at one point and lasted less than 6 mths. |
Anything else to tell us: I am a pensioner now but I know I can be recalled for a review at any time. Hoping against hope that the ‘soft touch review’ will not impact but not holding my breath. I have long knowledge of the DWP (and its predecessor) and know how hard it can be |
