Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I have issues with loss of bladder control, neurological issues, meltdowns, self-harm, suicide attempts, eating without prompting. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: About 600 as I would also lose my LCWRA entitlement |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I have already experiences this. I had more suicide attempts and self harming, my spinal leak reopened and my arachnoiditis worsened, which is documented on MRI. This is what triggered the bladder incontinence which is permanent. The current benefit reforms also lead me to attempt suicide a third time, using a charcoal grill. |
Anything else to tell us: The PIP process is corrupt with assessors routinely lying with no repercussions. Appeals can last over a year leaving people with no support, and then need reapplying for again immediately anyway. This causes terrible stress and us deeply traumatic and also means people are likely to lose LCWRA while contesting it. It is expensive to the state as most appeals find claims were wrongly denied |
