Nickname: Artwoman |
Age: 59 |
Main health condition: Physical health |
Main conditions that affect daily living: ME/CFS Long Covid |
Rate of PIP daily living component: Standard |
4 point descriptor score: No |
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Very unlikely as I haven’t been given the points I should actually have due to the assessor lying on my PIP assessment |
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I am housebound and mainly bedbound. I rely on my adult daughters who live with me to make my meals, do all housework and shopping and laundry. I am not able to do any cooking or even prepping for meals. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I would lose half of my Pip which is currently £596. So I’d like about £300. I’d also lose probably half my UC/LCWRA so from £750 I’d drop to £400 |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I am unable to work at all, I cannot leave the house, I cannot speak for more than a few minutes a few times a day, I can’t walk more than a few yards a few times a day, I cannot do anything that requires concentrated mental or physical application because it makes my symptoms even worse. A work coach would not be able to magically cure me to get me to work. |
