Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Great tiredness and pain, even impacts ability to sit upright at home. I struggle with light too, so hard to read or use computer. Dressing, bathing, cooking, walking around are slow and painful. There is also a lot of torn cartilage or tendonitis across multiple joints, so all movements are sore. My ability to go out and mix is very limited. |
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: About £9k a year. My next PIP review should be around age 62. I have no chance of paying my private rent on the remaining money. I will be unemployable. And I find there are now multiple cost-cutting measures in place at GP surgeries or in NICE guidance, so I have to buy painkillers and remedies out of my own pocket. I get 10 points for mobility, but it's a pittance in terms of the transport help needed. |
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: I cannot work full-time. I get a tiny amount of money from making youtube videos, but cannot manage more than 10 hours a week. I lay on my tummy on the floor to edit. Continence is also an issue, which is unpredictable and very personal. I would be most upset if I had to discuss this with strangers or potential employers. |
