Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: 50/50 chance, I honestly don't trust the assessors to know of or understand my complex medical history, the rare conditions I have and the difficulties they cause.
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: I am affected by severe Depression initially due to the murder of a family member, but my many health conditions have exacerbated it and it has unfortunately proven untreatable with medication.
Walking just a few yards causes pain in my hips, feet and lower spine, also fatigue and the Stroke has left me clumsy and unstable on my feet, I get vertigo on a daily basis and fall on occasion and constantly bump and walk into things like tables and the door frames. This has left me mostly housebound. Standing or sitting in a normal upright position for more than a few minutes causes extreme pain in my hips and back and feet.
I have difficulty with my breathing if I exert myself or if there is pollen or dust in the air.
Cooking and preparing food is challenging, I have cut and burnt myself many times due to the cognitive issues and hand tremors I now have as a result of the Stroke, basically the more I try to do the worse I get.
Bathing is difficult due to vertigo and I can't clean below my thighs. Washing my upper body causes severe chest pain due to chronic problems caused by an old operation that did not go to plan. A Lymph Node in my chest exploded during what was supposed to be a 40min biopsy but turned into a 4 hour operation. This has left me with chronic chest pain which is worsened by lifting or pushing/pulling anything. Too many more problems to list but these should give you a basic idea of my daily struggles with simple activities.
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I'm really not sure how much income I would lose exactly as I struggle with brain fog and thinking and processing new information (my partner has helped me with this questionnaire), but I suspect from what I've seen in the press and from statements from Labour Mp's on social media that it could be many thousands per year.
I need a specific healthy diet and losing potentially thousands of pounds a year would drastically affect the quality and quantity of food I could afford.
I need to keep the ambient temperature in my home stable, if it gets too cold it triggers an Asthma attack, so losing so much money I would definitely not be able to spend what I do now on electricity, in turn that would affect my Asthma.
I am very anxious and stressed about it all and it's definitely making my daily symptoms much worse right now. My partner is very concerned that the stress this causing is going to cause another stroke.
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: Straight off I know myself that I that I am unable to work and I have been assessed as unable by the DWPs own work capability assessment several times in the past. No work coach can change that. Mentally and physically I know I just couldn't do it as my normal daily life takes everything out of me. I have to lay down on the sofa with my feet up to alleviate the painful symptoms of Erythromelalgia, spine/hip pain, and just sheer exhaustion/fatigue many times during the day. I struggle to communicate fluently as I have difficulty with my memory and my speech/talking pattern due to the Stroke. I am also classed as extremely clinically vulnerable to Viruses due to several of my health conditions, so I avoid going out or being around people in general.
Anything else to tell us: As with most people with chronic illnesses and/or disabilities, I have to take many different medications, for me this includes strong Codeine pain meds which affect my sleep patterns.
