Submission ID: 1162093
Date: 2025-04-08 15:18:01
Nickname: Rosa Diaz
Age: 30-35
Main health condition: Both physical and mental health
Main conditions that affect daily living: Chronic Pain, BPD, Generalized Anxiety
Rate of PIP daily living component: Enhanced
4 point descriptor score: No
Possibility to score at least one 4-point daily living descriptor at the next review: Unlikely
Tasks you struggle with on a day-to-day basis: Washing, dressing, eating, taking medication, cleaning etc
Expected income you will lose if the Green Paper cuts are imposed: I'd lose out on PIP and with the change-over from ESA to UC I'm already set to lose out but with what they're proposing for the LCWRA group, I'd be hundreds and hundreds of pounds worse off every month, when the cost of EVERYTHING is rising!
Expected problems if you tried moving into work, with support from a work coach: No one wants to hire someone who cannot commit to any type of schedule due to an unpredictable chronic condition that affects everything from sleeping to digestion and I have constant brain fog that makes basic tasks difficult. Support from a work coach would make me sicker through increased anxiety and would be a complete waste of time and money. Nothing would make me able to work.
Anything else to tell us: These changes will cause nothing but further austerity, preventable deaths, and suicides.
