The DWP is forcing charities involved in delivering the work programme to sign a gagging clause preventing them from revealing how well - or badly - their project is doing.
The Shaw Trust has complained that it would like to be able to share data so that providers can collaborate to find out what works and what doesn’t. The government, however, says that this information must be kept secret in case there are ‘teething issues’ with the scheme.
