A busy afternoon in the House of Commons today, starting at 2.30pm with oral questions and sometime from 3.30pm an opposition debate on the performance of the Department for Work and Pensions.{jcomments on}
The opposition asks that the House notes failures and costs associated with Universal Credit, Employment & Support Allowance, Personal Independence Payment, the Work Programme and the Bedroom Tax.
Labour party ministers, including Ed Miliband and Rachel Reeves, have called on the government to recognise its failures and to publish:

the risk register and other documentation relating to the delivery of Universal Credit as a Freedom of Information tribunal has ruled it should

the time in which it will guarantee that disabled people will receive an assessment for PIP and

a full risk assessment showing the potential impact of delays, delivery problems, contract failures and underperformance on

people receiving or entitled to benefits

departmental budgets and spending plans and
- the government’s welfare cap
