We apologise that the Benefits and Work website was offline on Monday.
Unauthorised files were uploaded to the site on Sunday. The files were discovered on Monday morning and the site was taken offline to remove all the unauthorised files and carry out security checks.
As far as we are aware, no users were affected by the attempt and no data was lost. We do apologise for the temporary absence of the site.
