hi coplained to vivien hopkins acting cheif executive office length of time for decision on DLA had phone call lunchtime from complaints manager my DLA motability high rate as been reneiwed for 2 more years but my new claim for DLA care from january 2011 was turned down it is a very interesting decision as i am waiting for a coplete knee replacement and i have urge incontinence and faceas incontinence needing help in the day and 2-4 times a night the decision maker has not followed there own guidlines from the disability handbook i phoned to complain this afternoon and they are going to retrieve my papers i have a direct phone no and if i havent had a phone call back by thursday 7july i have to call them back i will appeal if i have to i live in mid wales and the waiting time for DLA appeals is 6 to 8 months i will keep you updated peter
