Atos do accept the online version of form ESA50, as the DWP were responsible for enabling completion of the form using this method.

Sorry, I forgot to ask - do they accept the downloaded version, printed off and hand written on, as opposed to typing the answers on the screen. Basically i'd just like an extra copy incase mistakes get made while filling the original one, but i'd prefer to write and not type because my adviser is going to write most of it up for me and I have to take/send it to her office. thanks

Yes. You need to print the form anyway even if you typed it on the computer. It won't make any difference whether you use a pen or printer ink.
