Where to get Help filling my ESA50 form filled out was created by s.jmoore@blueyonder.co.uk
Well my form turned up last week and I've already wasted a week panicking over how to word my answers, and thats even with the help of the guides on here. I have until the 29th of July o get this in :(

My concentration isn't great to due issues with pelvic pain, and so I think I'm going to need help getting this sorted somehow.

My Gp is away on holiday for another two weeks and I've given up trying to contact my local CAB office. The phone line is permantely engaged and they say their email service is not for making appointments just general advice, and as It's only manned by 2 volunteers they can't guarantee a quick response (allow 2 weeks would you believe) so I think I'll have to rule that out.

So is there any other public body/organization that would have the time to help me at this late a date?

Try Google'ing "welfare rights" and an appropriate town name.

You should also be able to go to your local councils web site and use "welfare rights" in their search engine.

Thanks for replying.

Well I've done just that and help looks like being very thin on the ground. Apart from the same CAB office that I've already been trying to get hold of for the past week, there's only a law centre, MIND and a disabilities action group which says it gives out advice to the disabled and their carers. I'm not sure I fit under that category or not.

Also If It's the same place that I rang years back, well I found their staff rather unhelpful/borderline rude sadly.

If the worst comes to the worst have people on here managed to fill this form out successfully with on the help of the guides?

Hi Just Me
Do you live in a housing association property as they quite often have welfare rights advisors who may be able to help. I also found the following national cab phone numbers these are for England and Wales. For Wales call 0844 477 2020
For England call 08444 111 444 . Perhaps these may be of help. If you are in Scotland let me know and I will get a hold of the scottish phone number for you.

Hi Just Me

I have relied on the guides on this site numerous times and I personally wouldn't contemplate trying to fill out forms without the guides on this site. This site is fantastic!

No I don't live in a housing association property. I rent privately sadly.

Also would those other CAB numbers be of use to someone not in their catchment area? I'll ring them but aren't they just going to recommend me containing the same CAB that I can't get hold of?

It's good to know that the guides are that good. I've had a friend print to some of them already so that I don't have to sit at the computer all day when I'm referencing them for the forms.

Thanks for both your replies by the way. :)
