Hi Brian, you too have now discovered the full extent of the lie you have been sold all your life.

They tell us to be good citizens, pay our taxes, don't cause trouble. Just keep your nose to the grindstone, and if you live, you can pick up your State Pension.

Isn't it a comfort to know that your NI contributions are being syphoned off to enable the big players to aquisition, asset strip and speculate their way to greater riches?

You want to make a claim due to ill health? That isn't supposed to happen, you have poked your head above the parapet, stepped out of line.

Am i a mere cynic? I truly wish i was Brian.

All the very best mate, hope you get a result.

Hi Brian,

I have to agree with Ranald as I too had worked +38 years and paid all my stamps and taxes only to discover that 'they' are fighting tooth and nail to stop me from getting the benefits that I am truly due.

I feel we have a duty to fight on, for what is right and proper, no matter how tough they make it for us, in the hope that one day in the not too distant future people like us, who have contributed as much as we possibly can before ill health set in, will be treated as we should be and not like 2nd class citizens.

Without getting too political, why is it so easy for people from outside the UK to come here and get numerous benefits without ever contributing in the first place? Maybe because people like us are NOT getting what we should?

Dont give up Brian, fight on to get what is rightly yours, things need to change.

Good luck.

Bill
