Can anyone tell me what this is (WFHRA), what it involves and when do you get it, please? Last October I went for an assessment and as far as I could tell it was just a medical assessment - is it possible I got the WFHRA at the same time and didn't notice? I've been sent a reassessment form so i've been going over old notes and it said in one of them that I would get a WFHRA either at the same time as the medical or on another date and that both myself and my Persoanl Advisor would be sent the capability report to be used in my WFIs but I never received such a thing. Also I was put into the WRAG but I was never called to any WFIs except for the intial one - does anyone know why that would be? When I went to that one (which was before the medical) he told me i'd had to come back about once a month for the next 5 months.

Hi Mumsgirl
The work focused health related assessment (WFHRA) has been suspended last summer for two years, so you shouldn't expect to undergo one.
The Pathways to Work scheme is being replaced by other Government programmes and in some areas has already been terminated. You will probably be called up for an interview for the new programme at some time in the future.
Good luck
Derek

In the last week I've received my letter advising that my long-term IB is being switched to ESA. I had the phone call on Friday to check I'd received the letter & to tell me that they'd be sending me the new form to complete. Also both in the letter & the advisor mentions the possibility of undergoing the WFHRA so now I'm confused if it's supposed to have been suspended? If it has then why are they still telling people that they may have to under-go it?
Thanks in advance,
Lyndsay

The WFHRA as a seperate medical examination has been suspended, if ATOS believe that such a medical is required, it will be included in the standard WCA medical exmamination. In the last week I've received my letter advising that my long-term IB is being switched to ESA.
