Time limit to submit evidence? was created by Jox
I have been waiting for my dla appeal for around 8 months now, i have a good report from my consultant that addresses both mobility and care needs and i have another report from my gp but this only addresses mobility needs.

im thinking of going to see him and asking him to write another report addressing both mobility needs and care needs i have been very anxious and scared to talk to him about my care needs in the past im not sure why but i find it much easier to talk to my consultant but my gp i just feel uncomfortable however my mother is willing to come with to talk to him about this.

if i submit another report from my gp 8 months in will it still be accepted by the tribunal?

yes it will,

you are free to submit any evidence you want (ideally up until about 2 weeks before the tribunal hearing) but if you can get your GP to detail that you have had the needs since the date of your original application for DLA then this will help you even more.

best wishes, Lisa
