One of the things that gets someone in the support group is

Cannot chew or swallow food or drink without repeatedly stopping, experiencing breathlessness or severe discomfort

What if someone only has this problem but its not every meal ? or every day how often would this have to happen to get them the support group ... its the after affects of a stroke and they wont get better ... its the swolloing not chewing they have a problem with, of course they have dangers because it might go down the wrong hole :)

Have a look at page 26 of the new ESA Handbook in the Members area for a better understanding of what the ATOS HCP will be looking for.

Thanks for that read and forwarded ... they get severe discomfort, but not short of breath which ticks the box as its and and or question. How many meals in a week would have to be affected ? as dependng on whats being eaten some meals more than others would cause this type of problem ?
