thank you everyone and thank you Marionaqu - you appear to be identical to me in your diagnoses.

I will certainly use your idea as this seems the most sensible way to go as I have my own Mental Health worker and Psychiatric Nurse as well as a full time carer to look after me at home.

I am still dreading Friday but will be ready for them and will make sure they are fully aware of how things affect my every day attempt at living.

UPDATE

just received my post. The DWP cannot give me a decision on my Care application as they are awaiting a report now from my Mental Health worker/Psychiatric nurse. They have already had a report from my old GP so it was either not good enough or they need clarification on some mental health issues I would reckon?

Trying to get hold of Mental Health worker to see if they will reply and when.

I too have ME. (dont like the chronic fatigue definition, implies it is just simply being fatigued!).
I have in the past at the IB medicals always been questioned about my mental health, despite a plethora of other info relating to the physical stuff, and passed on that alone before we even got onto the physical. I remember on more than one occasion the doctor saying that he would start with the depression side of it first. I too have depression, poss because of the effect that the illness does organically have on the brain and too as a reative result of being ill for so long.(I also have lost my pregnancies plus major events in our family history do not help). Depression is a side effect of many illnesses, it is very much part of having a major illness. So some doctors trying to separate it does not always make sense to me. We are the sum part of all of that which is happening and if one views it holistically I think that that would be far more empathetical and indeed more helpfull.

Dont underestimate the word "fatigued" its a big reason planes crash both pilots and parts suffer from it :)

Medically speaking i think its

The decreased capacity or complete inability of an organism, an organ, or a part to function normally :)
