this wasn't actually an esa migration medical (at least I don't think. it was months ago) I was in ib/income sup and now that I've had the medical (the first I've had even though I've been on ib/is for years (been getting doctors notes)) and now after the medical they've put me on full excempt ib meaning I don't have to get doctors notes anymore. Do you think that there may be a possibility that they've put me straight onto esa support or that I may not have to to the medical on the basis of this.never filled in esa50 up till now.only the ib50

also sorry just to add. would it be a wise idea for me to phone the dwp and ask them if in fact I have bypassed the esa form filling and medical and just been automatically placed from ib/is straight to esa support based on my obviously terrible condition when at the medical. this would be a huge relief if so.

You say your last medical was a couple of months ago, do you live in Burnley or Aberdeen, as the pilot for the IB transfer, has been running in these towns since October last year?
If not, you should have received a statement of payments related to your benefits folowing the Decision to allow your claim, this will clearly identify the benefit you are receiving.

no i dont live in these areas. my letter says that im now on full ib so dont have to see doctors anymore and an incapacity assesment may be considered at future date to ensure I continue to meet threshold under pca. so looks like esa is still coming. can't find anything about what EA1 is either. is it worth requesting es85.or or maybe best to wait and see what happens . either way glad to have passed pca. some breathing space.

The ESA85 is an ESA medical report, as you are on IB you won't have one.

Hi Anon
I would give them a ring and ask if an IB85 medical report was produced, or simply ask for any documentation relating to your recent medical and decision.
Regards
Derek
